Wild boar
The Hungarian grove is an excellent livingplace for this valuable wild animal. Smaller drives in the reeds or hide hunting by the full- moon and in snow look promising. The wild boar that weighs disemboweled more than 150 kg, and which has got tusks longer than 20 cm, is not rare here. Annually approximately 350 animals are shot out.
Red Deer
The Nagyberek is an almost totally uninjured, ancient livingplace, which gives an excellent source of nutrient for the game. No wonder that this provincial stock of red deer is one of the best in the country.
A healthy age-division, a strong and healthy stock of game can only be reached in this way. In case of mature bulls we can reckon with antlers which weigh 12 or in certain cases 14 kg. Annually approxiamtely 300 animals are shot out.
Roe Deer
Great amount of roe-deer can be found in Nagyberek with trophies of medium quality. Annually approximately 150 animals are shot out, 40 of which are roebucks. Their trophies weigh 300 gr on average. Annually 2 or 3 bigger roebucks are shot out with trophies more than 400 gr. Between the beginning of Mai and the beginning of June is the best time to come to hunt for roe-deer. Especially nice experience the hunt from a carriage at dawn in a nice spring day.
Fallow deer
In spite of the fact that the fallow-deer appears casually in our area, a strong bull might be captured.

Further information
Accompanying hunter
The huntsmen are accompanied by a host hunter, whose main task is to help to point out the right game to shoot out. The estimated weight might vary
+/- 15% from the reality. In case of wild boar hunt we cannot estimate the size of the task with guarantee.
Dogs for the shooting
Hannover bloodhounds are available for scenting. Well-trained, dutiful, short- and wire-haired German-and Hungarian pointers (vizslas) help the shooting with finding the wounded or killed game. If you wish to bring your own dog into the country, the dog´s vet certification should not be older than 12 days. Antirabic vaccinations must be indicated in their international certification. (Please ask a competent vet.)
